ResoLUT is a new type of digital camera for surveillance and video security
ResoLUT provides several breakthroughs in key performance attributes
versus current surveillance cameras:
Three order-of-magnitude higher raw resolution (1.0 gigapixels per frame)
Dynamic foveation at the hardware level, meaning that the gigapixel
resolution can be applied to only regions of interest within the frame (lower
resolution can be acquired from background areas within the same frame, so
that total pixels-per-frame remains within conventional bandwidth constraints).
Ability to change the distribution of resolution arbitrarily within the frame, and
dynamically between frames in real-time and at video-rate.
A Field of View of up to 360 degrees
Sharp, non-blurred images regardless of motion/vibration.
A format that is small, lightweight, robust, low-power, and relatively low cost.
